Welcome to GLASA Online | GLASA Sponsor | Bulletin Board
Created in 1978, the Greater Los Angeles Sports Association (GLASA) is an organization comprised of men and women dedicated to promoting organized softball competition for the LGBT community in Los Angeles. Nationally, we are proud to be one of the largest member cities of our national organization, NAGAAA. We have a membership of almost 500 players competing at one of four levels of play, consisting of an A, B, C and D Division. These division levels pertain to the competitive level of play, with ‘A’ being the most skilled, and ‘D’ supporting the more recreational level of play. We have won 23 national championships over the years; however, we offer much more than just a competitive softball environment. Through our annual events such as the Switch Hitter’s Ball and our team fundraisers held almost weekly throughout the year, we promote a social atmosphere that is sure to meet everyone’s appetite for fun. Through the support of our team sponsors and the support of all of our managers, coaches, players and volunteers, we hope to continue to make a positive impact on the LGBT community for which we serve. If you are not a current member of GLASA, we hope to see you on the field or at one of our social events soon.
